We are a vibrant Surry Hills staple from way back.  Located on the corner of Crown and Cleveland Streets, we are in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Surry Hills, only minutes from everything. Ten minutes from the CBD and Sydney Airport, a ten minute walk from Central Railway Station and ten minute walk to Oxford Street, the Entertainment Quarter, Hordern Pavilion, Allianz Stadium & the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Sapphire Bar & Lounge is a unique function space located the heart of Surry Hills and exclusively tucked away on the second floor of the Crown Hotel. Echoing the sophisticated charm of the Hamptons, our spacious bar and lounge areas are fresh, contemporary and versatile, which makes our venue the perfect setting to host a range of events, including engagement parties, birthdays, baby showers, or corporate events.

Our amazing chef provides catering that is set to impress even your most discerning guests.  Whether you are after roaming canapes, seated packages, a cash bar, tab or beverage package, we have options to suit your requirements.

We love all sports at the Crown Hotel, so it's lucky for us that we are positioned only a stone's throw from Moore Park, the SCG & Allianz Stadium. Our Sports Bar is located on the bottom level of the Crown Hotel and we televise ALL major sporting events LIVE including AFL, NRL, EPL & UFC! We’re outside Sydney’s Lockout Zone, so you’re welcome to join us to watch ALL of your sporting fixtures & events. Your sport will be shown one of the HUGE TV screens  – if it’s not, we’ll make it happen!
